Ghent made us move - #movement21

After receiving the scoop on the star-studded audience expected at the Royal Academy of Ghent/KASK fashion show, the I Love Belgium team was extremely excited to see the pieces that would be on display throughout the night. The students presented an array of commercially attainable pieces that clearly celebrated the time they've spent at KASK. The #movement21 catwalk presented slightly more ready-to-wear leaning collections than its counterparts at Antwerp. Although it felt like the evening was ruled by light pastels and intricate designs, several richly colored pieces stood out to us on the catwalk. And while we believe that the jury powerhouse we reported on yesterday left the Eskimofabriek venue satisfied, our team has decided to share with you our favorite pieces of the night. Here are the looks that caught and kept our attention:

Charlotte de Maesschalck
We love: mix of cream and whites
Our favorite: tailored trousers

Maaike Van den Abbeele
We love: gradient colors
Our favorite: purple top

Nele Berckmans
We love: mix of textures and embroidery
Our favorite: embroidered skirt
